leann2LeAnn Young is the Founder and President of IntroSpect Marketing. Her responsibilities include the management of the business as well as hands on creation of marketing strategies and content. She started IntroSpect Marketing in January 2014, bringing more than 20 years of combined experience in product marketing, channel marketing, event management, and marketing communications. LeAnn is a global marketing expert and a product launch specialist. She has crafted numerous go-to-market strategies and marketing tools for software and technology products.

Prior to launching her own firm, LeAnn was a global product marketing manager for Notable Solutions, Inc., a top 500 technology company, where she managed the marketing launch of new products and developed marketing messaging, materials and communications for worldwide use. In a similar role at telecommunications giant Verizon, she was responsible for directing new product launches and developing sales enablement tools and  communications for new and existing products.

LeAnn served as the International Channel Relations Manager at Vectorworks, a leader in the design software industry, where she directed the creation of global marketing programs and communications, and managed more than 30 international channel partners. Additionally, she was an Executive Director at Global Chamber and was responsible for founding and leading the Baltimore/Washington Chapter. LeAnn currently serves on the board for Global Chamber Baltimore/Washington and as a global business advisor in the Baltimore/Washington region.

More recently, LeAnn was a senior marketer at Prometric, a leading global testing and assessment company delivering more than 7 million professional certification and licensure examinations each year in more than 180 countries.  At Prometric, LeAnn was responsible for a wide range of functions, including developing global marketing programs for emerging markets, creating digital lead-generation campaigns, crafting social media content and strategies, directing the creation of client and partner engagement communications, and developing sales enablement tools.

LeAnn started her career in the software industry at Unisys Corporation in the Philadelphia area, where she worked as a software engineer and technical writer. LeAnn earned an M.B.A. in International Business – Marketing from The American University in Washington, DC. and a B.S. in Technical Writing and Editing from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.

As personal past times, LeAnn maintains a passion for “The Arts” and for Switzerland. She enjoys spending time with her two young adult children.
